The Row on Merchant/ Townhouse
I’ve lived at The Row on Merchant Townhomes for about two and a half years, during which there’s been at least one management change. Overall, my experience has been mixed. The location offers a quiet environment and decent space, but the quality of construction inside the unit feels somewhat rushed and cheaply done — both in terms of materials and workmanship.
While maintenance has generally been responsive, there was one notable instance where our washer broke and it took nearly three months to have it repaired, which was inconvenient. Additionally, considering the limited amenities offered, the distance from campus, and the overall build quality, I believe the rent is overpriced by roughly $300 per month compared to similar options in the area.
In short, it’s been a livable experience, but not one that fully matches the value or expectations for the price point.
